Need a great gong? Somrthing with a deep, resonant voice? Sump'thin' like the one used in the Heartfulness series by Fr. Keating? So does everyone else, it seems. If only we had one! All I can do, I'm afraid, is refer ya' somewhere else.

They come in different sizes. Smaller ones are a lot cheaper, of course, but they also make 'em twice as big. This one's Goldilocks size...eight inches. "It's just right!" If ya' wanna see the whole shebang, click on the address below and scroll up and down until you find the right one for you.

Even more beautiful bells are available in crystal. Not only can ya' choose the size, but the exact musical note ya' want 'em to play. A good place to start is with an eight-inch bowl that sings in "C." That's tuned to the "root" chakra, so they say.

Even though it's called a singing bowl, it can be struck like a bell as well. Or ya' can make 'em sing in the traditional way. Just run the wooden end of the mallet 'round the top of the bowl. Then finish off by striking the bell three times slowly. That's a great way to start centering prayer. Here's where ya' get 'em...

Let me know if ya' have any trouble. I know how much they mean to ya'. It's such a great way to start and stop centering prayer I even think it's good for your heart. It's like pushing the calm button. All your worries fly right out the window while your carefree heart practically hums with the deep, mellow resonance of this enchanted fairytale of a bell...either one of 'em!

Simple as Michaelmas pie, I'm a'thinkin'. Of course, they had a different sort of ring, ya' know—Michaelmas pies, I mean—the kind ya' wear on your finger. Me sainted mother back in Ireland used to put one in her pies on Michaelmas, ya' see. It was all part of the celebration. "Find the ring and ya'll soon be a-gettin' married!" she'd say.

4" x 3" name tags

Need some name tags for your next Centering-Prayer shindig? I thought so. Here are some that're already printed and ready to go...

Mostly people want 'em on card stock, but they come on regular paper too (in case ya' wanna slide 'em into one o' them fancy, plastic thingamabobs). All ya' have to do is cut 'em out and pin 'em on. (Personally, I use double-stick tape. Saves money!) There are six per page. Each is four inches wide and three inches tall. Here's what they look like by themselves...

Kinda hard to tell what they'd look like with a name on it, itn'it? Hold on a second. Let me getcha one with sump'in' on it....Ah, here it is–me own precious name tag (I liked it so much I kept it)...

...(like anyone wouldn't know!).

You'll have to add your own names, of course. If you're signing 'em up on the spot, I'd use a sharpie. If ya' can get 'em to preregister, though, ya' can run 'em through one o' them lazy printer. That's how they got the one above lookin' so good.

In case you're wondering, butterflies represent resurrection, not just Christ's either, but your own as well. Ya' have been reborn, haven't ya'?...No, I'm not talking about conversion. I'm talkin' about the True Self. That's a whole, new level of rebirth. That's what centering prayer is all about. Ya' can ask Fr. Keating if ya' don't believe me.

You'll need sump'thin' to keep 'em on, of course. I use double-stick tape meself, but we have them fancy magnetic cases as well. Not only are they the cat's meow, but ya' can stuff 'em with whatever message you like. (It's a great way to meet people at the grocery store. Just write "Singles smile more!")
